You get them through the mail - isn't that something. He ordered them several months ago and had been anxiously waiting for their arrival, and they came!  He has been watching them everyday and is very excited seeing them with pollen on their feet and doing all the things they do. Ask him if he has any honey for sale yet? He's doing a good job.      Honey bees are just another example of our awesome creator. The more I learn about bees the more I am just in awe of these little creatures and I have all these questions. How do they know what job they have? How do they know when it is time to cap each little cell of honey at just the right time, when it has the perfect amount of moisture in the honey so it will not spoil? How do they not get lost as they travel a long way to get pollen? And how do they know when it is time to separate and swarm?  When is it time to get a new queen? It’s just amazing to me! When I hear someone say that they believe that the world and everything in it came about through a series of accidents and chain reactions, I think, maybe they should just get a hive of bees and watch and study them for awhile and then see if they think these little creatures are just an accident. Then, I realize that many of these people who believe in evolution are also parents, and they have seen the miracle of life first hand. So, I guess studying a few little bees probably wouldn’t change their minds either. I’m just glad that we Christians know that the world and everything in it was created by our heavenly Father and that we can be amazed and humbled everyday in every little and big thing. Remember, Jordan that God created you and the bees and he said, “It was very good”.   Genesis 1:31 “God saw all that He had made and it was very good.” What’s going on in our Church       June is a very exciting time for our Church and especially for our Junior and Senior High kids and several adult leaders. For the last several years we have been going on Mission trips to several places in the United States. They are called Work Camps. We go through Group Work Camp, Incorporated.           They have numerous sites all over the United States set up for Junior High and Senior High kids and their adult leaders to go and work for a week to help needy people. We have been to Kingston TN, Nashville, TN, and Bay City, Michigan.  This year we have such a large group that we are going to Racine, WS and Indianapolis, IN. The week is filled with worship and serving others. They get up at 7:00am for breakfast. After they eat, they fix themselves sandwiches and a sack lunch to eat for lunch at their work site followed by a morning worship service.  Then, they break up into small groups of 5-6 and go off to their work sites. They may be painting housing, building houses through Habitat for Humanity, working at food pantries, building handicap ramps, or fixing housing or roofs.  The list goes on and on - all for people who can’t afford or able to do the work themselves. At noon the crew has devotion and they invite the person they are helping to join them. That evening, it’s back to where they are staying for dinner. The even is filed with a worship service, group devotions, and free time. The large group camps of 500 usually stay at a school, and the small group camp of 100 stay at a church. They sleep on the floor and many times get to take cold showers made out of a garden hose, because most churches do not have showers.      The experiences these trips have given our kids in the last few years have been unbelievable. The spiritual growth for the kids and the adults has been huge. Just to be with 100 - 500 other kids from all over the United States all worshiping several times a day together is unreal. For our kids to see how some people live and the needs that these people have has been a valuable lesson for us all.      This year, 35 kids and adults are heading out for this great adventure on June 20th.  They will come back with all their stories and joys to share with us. Keep watch for the date and time for the ice cream social and mission trip slide show. And please pray for our kids and leaders for a safe very rewarding trip.      Have a wonderful summer, Pastor Bob Copyright Rush Hill Community Church 2010
